Offshore Fishing Charters Out of South Louisiana for

Red Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Pelagics & More in the

Gulf of America

Welcome to American Gulf Fishing Charters — your gateway to Louisiana’s world-class offshore fishing. We specialize in full-day deep-sea fishing trips targeting: Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Wahoo, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Swordfish, Tuna & more. The waters off of the Louisiana coast are some of the most productive in the Gulf of America, thanks to a mix of natural and manmade structure that holds fish year-round.

  • Oil platforms – hundreds of vertical reef systems loaded with bait and predators

  • Pipeline crossings and oil rig cutoffs – underwater intersections that break current and concentrate fish

  • Sunken wrecks and artificial reefs – old ships, barges, and rigs turned into fish magnets

  • Natural bottom – live coral, shell pads, rock piles, mud lumps, and ledges scattered across the Gulf floor

These areas hold fish year-round and give us plenty of options, no matter the season.

Our mission is to help people fall in love with fishing the way we did — not just the catch, but the process, the challenge, and the connection to the water. We’re here to build real anglers who carry that passion forward to the next generation. One fish, one fight, one trip is all it takes to start a new legacy — and we want our boat to be the foundation of many.
